Downloading the Smart Home Monitoring app to your device

 

For Apple users:

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Search for Rogers Smart Home Monitoring and tap the icon.
  3. Tap Download.
  4. Enter your Apple ID password if prompted.
  5. After downloading, sign in to the app using your MyRogers credentials.

 

For Android users:

  1. Open Google Play.
  2. Search for Rogers Smart Home Monitoring and tap the icon.
  3. Tap Download.
  4. Enter your Google Play password if prompted.
  5. After downloading, sign in to the app using your MyRogers credentials.

 

  1. Sign in to the app using your MyRogers credentials.
  2. The main screen will show you a quick status of all your security zones, cameras and devices, so you know what’s going on at home at a glance. Here, you can access the “Overview”, “Activity”, “Automation” and “More” tabs. 
    • The Overview tab is where you can view your status and manage your Smart Home Monitoring system and devices like lights, thermostats, door locks and more.
    • The Activity tab is where you can review system and device related events from any day in the past two months.
    • The Automation tab is where you can manage automations to suit your schedule or a specific event - create, disable or delete Rules and Scenes.
    • The More tab is where you can manage your settings and preferences for the Smart Home Monitoring app itself as well as the Smart Home system, including Contact List, Codes, and more.

 

Viewing system activity

  1. Sign in to the Smart Home Monitoring app.
  2. Tap Activity.
  3. Tap the calendar icon beside a specific date to view any activity that occurred on your account that day, or use the scrolling arrows to review dates one at a time.
  4. Tap Filter to filter the date’s activities by event type.

 

Creating or changing security access codes

  1. Sign in to the Smart Home Monitoring app.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Tap Keypad Codes. Here, you can easily manage your system’s security access codes.

 

Setting emergency and non-emergency contacts

  1. Sign in to the Smart Home Monitoring app.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Tap Contacts. Here, you can review or change your emergency contacts as well as your non-emergency notification contacts.
