Closed Captioning Pause

When closed captioning is paused, is it possible to display the words on the screen for longer than a couple of seconds?

The words disappear so quickly.

I assume you're talking about pausing a programme when you have CC enabled. We use CC a lot and here are my comments:

1. When you pause the programme, the CC typically stays on screen for about 5 seconds.

2. If you didn't get to read all of the CC during that time, simply press play and you'll see the next segment.
